Socks are what District 4 is known for, and the range goes well beyond the basics: cotton, sports, compression, tights and pantyhose, fashion and novelty, in every knit and weight you can ask for. Underwear and loungewear sit in the same district – briefs, bras, shapewear, thermals, pajamas and homewear. The rest is daily essentials: gloves, scarves, hats, towels and bath sheets, leggings, slippers, rainwear, buttons and sewing notions, hair accessories. Prices track cotton, so a quote here has a short shelf life.

When to Visit – and When Not To

Two things get misquoted in this district more than anywhere else in Yiwu: weight and color. A towel quoted at 400gsm can arrive at 300. Socks quoted per pair sometimes get billed per dozen. Prices follow cotton, so a quote is usually only good for 15-30 days. In winter the district pivots to thermal and fleece lines, and summer basics get harder to find.
