What Sells in District 1

District 1 is two markets in one building: toys and fashion accessories. The toy side runs from plastic dolls and building blocks to RC toys and licensed character merchandise, most of it straight off the factory line. The accessory side covers necklaces, earrings, bracelets, hair ornaments and brooches in alloy, acrylic, resin and natural stone, with designs following the season. The rest of the district is crafts, gifts and festive supplies: home decor, corporate giveaways, DIY materials, and holiday decorations for Christmas, Chinese New Year and everything in between.

When to Visit – and When Not To

Christmas stock gets ordered May and ships October. Turn up in September with a 500-piece request and most stalls will not give you the time of day – they are running container loads for regulars. August is the quiet stretch: same goods, roughly 10% better pricing, and stall owners will actually sit down and talk about a trial order.
